This website provides information about the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme and hosts web pages of funded projects. Our goal is to keep this information timely and accurate at all times. If errors occur and are brought to our attention, we will correct them as quick as possible.

The Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE managing authority and joint secretariat accept, however, no responsibility or liability with regard to certain information provided on this website. This relates in particular to: Content provided by projects on their web pages including external websites, and content in the "Community" and "Project Ideas" sections. These parts of the programme website provide information edited independently by external sources.

1. Applicants and beneficiaries of EU-Funding 

Please note that the data you have provided to us are processed for the following purposes and on the following legal bases:

Purpose: 
Implementation, documentation and provision of information on EU-funding handled by Municipal Department MA 27 – European Affairs.

Legal bases:
Article 115 of Regulation (EU) No. 1303/2013
Article 123 (3) of Regulation (EU) No. 1303/2013 in conjunction with Article 8 of Regulation (EU) No. 1011/2014
Article 125 (4) of Regulation (EU) No. 1303/2013 in conjunction with Article 23 (4) of Regulation (EU) No. 1299/2013
Agreement between the Federation and the laender pursuant to Article 15a Federal Constitutional Act (B-VG) on administrative and control systems in Austria to implement the operational programmes within the framework of the goal “Investments in growth and employment“ and the goal “European territorial cooperation“ for the period 2014 – 2020, Federal Law Gazette BGBl. Contractual agreements with project sponsors (funding agreements concerning ERDF funds)

For this purpose, the personal data are transmitted to the following recipients:

Control bodies of the funding bodies and/or private-sector control bodies commissioned by these bodies and/or evaluators appointed by the respective programme authority and/or the European Commission as processors or members of the respective programme monitoring committees.

Data are not transmitted to third countries (countries which are not members of the European Union).

Notes: In compliance with the legal requirement of Regulation (EU) No. 1303/2013 (Common Provision Regulation), your personal data relating to EU-funded projects in the structural fund period 2014-2020 are deleted after the statutory retention period.  

You have a right to information concerning your own personal data, as well as a right to rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, or to lodge a complaint against processing.  

Moreover, we draw your attention to the fact that - should you revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data until the end of the statutory retention period for the purpose of expenditure control - you will be denied the related funding. If you believe that your rights are not observed, or not fully observed, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority.

The provision of personal data is a legal requirement, if you are thereby claiming the disbursement of funds.

Providing personal data is required for the conclusion of a contract.

Failure to provide the data would have the following consequences for you: 

A refusal to grant contractual consent to the use of personal data and to obtaining such consent from all persons involved in the granted project for the purpose of verifying eligibility for funding would at any rate lead to the funding of personnel costs being denied. Dependent on the project structure, this may even include a revocation (cancellation) of the funding commitment.

2. Newsletter

By subscribing to our newsletter you agree that Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE may process automatically your personal data which you have provided in the subscription form, for providing information that you have agreed to receive.

You can revoke your agreement(s) any time by sending a letter to Joint Secretariat of Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme, Kirchberggasse 33-35/11, A-1070 Vienna or an e-mail to info(at)interreg-central.eu, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing executed due to the consent until the revocation. (note: if several consents exist, a revocation can only affect individual ones. Therefore, it makes sense to furnish a reference to the procedure/the purpose in the consent!) 

Personal data processed for the purpose mentioned above, will be secured until unsubscribing to our newsletter.
