Entwicklung und Vernetzung von Grünräumen in der Dübener Heide

MaGICLandscapes Regional Final Event

Naturparkhaus
Neuhofstr. 3

MaGICLandscapes Regional Final Event

Kyjovský pivovar, Komenského 596/64, Kyjov

Rádi bychom všechny pozvali do krajiny Kyjovska prostřednictvím výstupů z mezinárodního projektu MaGICLandscapes. V průběhu let 2017 – 2020 jsme objevovali zelenou infrastrukturu v území obce s rozšířenou působností Kyjov prostřednictvím historických i aktuálních map a rozsáhlých terénních šetření.

Urban Mobility Days 2020

29 September - 02 October 2020

The conference combines two leading events from Europe’s transport calendar: the CIVITAS Forum Conference and the European Conference on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs). It will allow policymakers, local authorities, academics, NGOs, urban transport practitioners, urban planners and all those putting the SUMP concept into practice to share their experiences using a virtual forum.

Over the course of the digital conference, you will hear sustainable urban mobility success stories from the CIVITAS Living Labs projects - and other examples of pioneering excellence from Europe and further afield. These will equip attendees with inspiration, tools, and know-how to further advance clean and sustainable transport in line with the European Green Deal.

With such a wealth of expertise and knowledge-sharing, Urban Mobility Days provides the ideal opportunity to digitally network, debate key issues, and exchange ideas on emerging transport trends and technologies and the latest developments in sustainable urban mobility planning.

2020 Urban Mobility Days Side Event

TitleShaping sustainable mobility in peripheral districts by looking through the functional urban area planning lens: ccessful measures and tools to guide practitioners through the integrated mobility planning process beyond the city centre areaDescriptionThe very first SUMP guiding principle counts on planning mobility at the functional urban area level, looking at the daily flows of goods and people beyond the city boundaries. Many cities keep focused on relieving the city centre of intensive motorized traffic to leave room for a thriving, liveable and safe environment based on leisure activities, but districts outside the central area or close to the city limits come across different mobility challenges having to face regular travel-to-work flows and daily exchange with suburban areas and surrounding communities. Our session looks at how mobility planning can become a more dynamic and flexible process based on actual movement patterns. Join our session to find out more about how Leipzig (Germany) conducted an integrated mobility planning process in the North Area of the city based on enhanced public transport and new mobility services, and explore how the CIVITAS ECCENTRIC project has tested more than fifty urban solutions to achieve a more sustainable mobility in five Living Labs, with a special focus on the city of Madrid (Spain). Two projects brought their knowledge together to develop a new SUMP Topic Guide (soon to be published) focusing on innovative ways and tools to tackle the mobility process at the functional urban area level by enhancing sustainable mobility in peripheral districts. The authors are excited to exchange with participants what are the needs and challenges of cooperating across institutions and city authorities to create comprehensive planning strategies that satisfy the mobility needs at the functional urban area level.Session moderatorWolfgang Backhaus, Rupprecht ConsultTopics and presentersCarsten Schuldt, mobility expert at Leipzig Transport Company, will present the development of the mobility strategy for the Leipzig North Area, an industrial and business peripheral district - a masterplan defined by public transport and inter-modality services enhancement to improve the commuting flows at peak hours. Moreover, Carlos Verdaguer, integrated urban planning and mobility expert of Gea21, technical manager of CIVITAS ECCENTRIC project, will present a set of measures Madrid implemented to enhance sustainable mobility in districts outside the city centre. In the second part, a new planning instrument developed to support local and regional authorities to reflect on the current mobility planning situation and pattern at different geographical levels – the SUMP Self-Assessment Tool - will be presented by one of its authors: Lasse Brand, mobility consultant at Rupprecht Consult. Finally, a new project on mobility planning in more and more dynamic and flexible contexts will be presented. The session moderator, Dr. Wolfgang Backhaus will present on how this project from an experimental call in the Interreg Central Europe program capitalises on integrating outputs from Interreg and Horizon 2020 projects to increase the ability of mobility planners to deal with new mobility trends.Registrationhttp://www.eumd.org/registerPlease select our side session at 11:30 on 02 October 2020.

SYNERGY Final Conference

21st October 2020, 13:00-16:00, Online Meeting

The SYNERGY Final Conference will take place on 21st October 2020 from 13:00-16:00 in a virtual meeting. We invite all interested stakeholder traget groups from academia, industry, policy making and general public to participate in the conference and to learn more about the achievements that result from three years of successful SYNERGY partnership.

The SYNERGY project has focused on improving sustainable linkages among different stakeholder target groups of the innovation systems to jointly strengthen the regional innovation capacities in Central Europe over the entire duration of the project. For this purpose, we analyzed relevant innovation projects and organizations within the most promising industrial technologies that were then transformed into Synergic Networks for the  key project areas of Additive Manufacturing & 3D-Printing, Industry 4.0 and Micro- & Nanotechnologies. Based on this, we developed the SYNERGY Profiling (SynPro) Tool and identified the stakeholders' needs and expectations on open innovation to finally develop and launch the Synergic Crowd Innovation Platform (SCIP) and establish the SYNERGY Crowd Innovation Strategy. We are looking forward to sharing the knowledge and experiences that we gained from all these activities with you during the final conference.

The conference will be very diverse with representatives from all our stakeholder traget groups in the different SYNERGY partner regions. More details on the final conference, participation and registration will be announced soon on the SYNERGY website and social media channels.

We are already looking forward to your participation!
