Young people’s opinions are rarely heard in business? We think there’s a better way and have given it a try as part of the EU GREENPACT Interreg CE project: last week, the partners from Stuttgart Region, WRS and HdM, got established companies talking to young people about sustainability, including Kosmos Verlag and start-ups such as Relionite, Bloom and Remedy.ai – with expertise, innovative ideas and personal assessments!
#GreenDeal? #Circular economy? #Stakeholder analyses? The experts Tina Kammer (InteriorPark.) Evelyn Neifer (Umwelttechnik BW (#UTBW)) as well as Dr Philipp Preiss and Prof Dr Claus Lang-Koetz (Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences – Design, Technology, Economics and Law) provided the necessary input. From resource extraction through production, transport and utilisation to recycling or disposal strategies, it is important to identify as many interest groups and their needs as possible. The online tool Green Check Your Idea developed by the Institute for Industrial Ecology (INEC) – Pforzheim University and Umwelttechnik BW helped us to assess where the companies currently stand.
There has never been a greater need to increasingly operationalise complicated measurable impact and specific measures. With the GREENPACT certification scheme, we will give start-ups in the founding phase and creative companies the opportunity to review their ideas in the context of sustainability.
