On 26 & 27 March 2024, the vibrant city of Turin, Italy, played host to a crucial gathering of partners involved in the pioneering 3P4SSE project, a project financed by the Interreg Central Europe Programme of the European Union.
Kindly organised by the LINKS Foundation, partner of the project, the two-day event started with the Steering Group Meeting that occupied the entirety of the first day.
The meeting kicked off with the presentation of some financial aspects of the project by Provincia Autonoma di Trento (leader of 3P4SSE). Following this, PAT and ALDA+ provided a comprehensive overview of the communication activities undertaken thus far. The meeting then delved into discussions concerning the first Work Package, featuring a robust debate on the International Strategy, with detailed elucidations offered by EURICSE.
As the day unfolded, attention turned to the exploration of the remaining work packages, WP2 and WP3, by the project’s diverse array of partners.
Continuing into the second day, the event transitioned seamlessly into a Policy Conference held at the prestigious Collegio Carlo Alberto. The Managing Director of the LINKS Foundation, Stefano Buscaglia, inaugurated the conference, followed by a detailed introduction to the project and to the topic of Social and Solidarity Economy by Luciano Galetti of the Autonomous Province of Trento.
The conference comprised two distinct sessions, each addressing critical aspects of Social and Solidarity Economy. The first session, moderated by Luca Scolfaro of the LINKS Foundation, centered on social clusters and regional development, featuring insights from esteemed speakers including Jacopo Sforzi of EURICSE, Cvjetana Plasva Matic of NFCSD, and Marcello Bogetti of SAA School of Management.
The second session, focused on New Normative Frameworks in Social Economy, was skillfully moderated by Barbara Stumpo, also of the LINKS Foundation. This segment featured enlightening presentations from Urška Bitenc of the Ministry of Economy, Tourism, and Sport of Slovenia, and Luigi Bobba of the TERZJUS Foundation.
Concluding remarks were delivered by Marco Valle of the LINKS Foundation, encapsulating the rich discussions and insights gleaned throughout the conference.
In essence, the 3P4SSE project partners meeting in Turin exemplified a harmonious convergence of diverse expertise and perspectives, united in the pursuit of advancing Social and Solidarity Economy on both regional and European scales.
