Project overview
Enhancement of capacities of SMEs, public authorities and academia for digitalisation, digital era-fit management and achievement of digital well-being.
The digital transformation offers new opportunities for companies but also increases complexity. Especially employees over 55 can suffer from digital stress or burnout at the workplace. The Digi-B-Well project helps companies to transform and make employees fit for the digital age. The partners upskill competences of managers, public authorities, and academia to better prevent digital stress and burnout. They develop and test new tools to self-assess digital maturity and digital transformation models in companies. In addition, a digitalisation strategy and action plans ensure the uptake of their innovative solutions into broader policy and business practices.

Roadmap
Work Package 1
Work package 1 aims to come up with digital-era-fit operation models for the “triple helix” (SMEs, public authorities and academia), guidelines on upskilling the triple helix leaders and employees as well as a Transnational digitalization strategy of Central Europe. To develop these, knowledge building is needed, e.g. through analysis of digitalisation needs and challenges or the valorisation of best CEU digitalization practices, using tools such as the Digital Maturity Assessment Tool by JRC of EC or the Digital Density Index. Leader of WP1 is the University of Bologna, Department of Psychology.
Work Package 2
The pilot testing of the prospective solution. First, the toolkit will be designed as wells as an IT platform for its implementation. In a second phase, pilot action concepts for the experimental testing of the Digi-B-Well toolkit should be developed. This step will be followed by the actual implementation of the pilot actions, tailored to SMEs, public authorities and academia. Reports from individual pilot actions will be gathered at national level, a joint review by all partners will lead to a transnational learning report and recommendations. The promotion of the pilot action outcomes will also be part of WP2, consisting of promotion activities aimed to engage target groups into the pilot actions as well as awareness-raising events and publications. Leader of work package 2 is the Technical University of Ilmenau, mkm (media and communication management) research group.
Work Package 3
In work package 3, action plans for all partner countries will be elaborated. WP3 focuses on building competencies of the triple helix through customized trainings of employees and managers. Action plans will be taken up to implement digital solutions, which in the end will be certified and potentially awarded, based on their progress and successful implementation. Promotion and dissemination events will take place to raise awareness and to stimulate behaviour change and investments for digitalisation. To ensure the sustainability of the project, agreements will be made to transfer the customised action plans and solutions into daily practice and further, to sustain the network structure beyond project lifetime. Leader of WP3 is the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia.
