Project overview
Carbon Reduction & Innovative Transformation
Small and medium enterprises account for nearly a third of carbon emissions. At the same time, many regions are not able to support their decarbonisation. The CREDIT4CE project builds the support capacities of such regions to take forward the green transition. The partners train them on technology transfer and speed up the development and uptake of innovative technologies needed for “net zero”. They design a new framework for green-tech innovators, which consists of a set of interventions for technology transfer and a public/private support model for green tech startups. The model will speed up the transfer of cutting-edge tech from lab to market and scale up green solutions to create new business opportunities.

Roadmap
CREDIT4CE Launches Carbon Footprint Calculator to Drive Green Transition
CREDIT4CE project successfully developed a user-friendly Carbon Footprint Calculator. It is designed to enable companies, particularly small and medium enterprises (SMEs), to measure their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions—both direct and indirect. By identifying key emission sources, businesses can set actionable sustainability goals, reduce their carbon footprint, and contribute to global decarbonization efforts. The achievement aligns with the parters' commitment to empower regions and SMEs with the tools and knowledge to embrace green technologies and accelerate the journey to “net zero.”
