Co-creating Circular Labs

Date: 13.06.2024
Our consortium recently held a productive two-day event on June 12th and 13th in Košice, Slovakia. Surrounded by the picturesque landscape, we focused on developing actionable strategies and solutions to guide our collaborative efforts over the next few months. These regular meetings underscore the power of international cooperation, bringing together diverse perspectives and expertise to address shared challenges and drive innovation across Europe.

We are dedicated to helping small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) transition to sustainable practices. Our efforts have resulted in the creation of innovative tools in the areas of design, materials, and business models, all aimed at facilitating the shift towards a circular economy. These resources are designed to promote change and sustainability within organizations.

To support this transition, we are establishing Circular Labs regionally in each partner country and transnationally. These labs will provide companies with physical and virtual spaces to test the tools and seek guidance.

Our meetings are crucial for ensuring our solutions are tailored for Central Europe. They are filled with presentations and workshop activities, fostering collaboration and innovation. The agenda of our recent meeting in Košice included:

  • Testing design, material, and business model tools
  • Conducting pilot activities with companies at the national level
  • Building a transnational network for Circular Labs

We will continue to share regular updates on our project’s progress and milestones on the CIRCOTRONIC website and through partners’ social media channels. Stay tuned for more information as we work towards driving sustainable change for SMEs in Central Europe.
