With the building portfolio managers and owners, we discussed how building portfolio analysis could be improved by the MESTRI-CE smart data hub. Key takeaways were for example the need for less burocratic solutions, difficulties to keep software updated for very big portfolios and the importance of combined sustainability and economic analysis of renovation measures.
With the building experts, the discussion topic were reasons that hinder the current transformation of the building sector. Key takeaways were that building stocks are usually very divers and have restrictions like monument protection, moreover the most sustainable measures are often not economic and the political framework changes too often to have planning security.
