In the Vas County Disaster Management Directorate, management meetings are held in the first week of every month, where, in addition to the tasks of the past month, the challenges and current issues of the coming period are also on the agenda. The forum also serves as an opportunity for the heads of the disaster management branches and professional fire brigades under the Directorate to ask questions and receive the tasks assigned to them.
One of the agenda items of the June, July and August management meetings included a presentation of one of the tasks and project activities related to the LOCALIENCE project. On 4 June 2024, Péter Kiss, Project Manager gave a presentation on the preparation of the Extreme Weather Catalogue, on 2 July 2024 the project task “Nature-based solutions against water damage” was the focus of the presentation, while on 6 August 2024, during the meeting, he presented the project task “Multi-hazards events training”.
Thanks to the presentations, the managers and, through them, the personnel will also become familiar with the Directorate’s activities in the project.
