our GreenScape project partner, the Public Roads Authority in Warsaw, participated in the third edition of the Green Retention conference, held from June 19-21 in Gdańsk. Organized by Gdańskie Wody, this event has become a key platform since its inception in 2022, bringing together participants and activists to discuss the future of green retention. Monika Domanowska, the coordinator of our GreenScape project at Warsaw’s Roads Authority, was a featured speaker and participated in a panel on the critical role of trees in retention systems. She also presented our innovative GreenScape project, including the pilot reconstruction of Wilenska Street inspired by the sponge-city concept.
