Regional Workshop “Forest and Food” in the Forest of Kocevje

Are there edible plants growing in the forest, and if yes, which ones? Together with 15 students from a 6th grade and 3 teachers from OŠ Ob Rinži, Kočevje, we went on an excursion to the forest near the school in Kocevje. During the excursion, the students and teachers got to numerous tree species and learned how to identify and collect edible plants – but that was not all. Back in the classroom, the wild findings were prepared and comprehensively tasted.
