The Lynx Trail is a long-distance trail with 11 stages through three large internationally recognized protected areas and fringes Austria’s first UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site (beech forests). It stretches right across the Styrian Eisenwurzen Nature and Geopark, making it an important link to the region.
The partner meeting was held to bring together companies from the tourism sector, such as restaurants, accommodation providers and tour operators, that are connected to the trail. During this meeting, we had the opportunity to present the HealthyForestRegions (HFR) project. Going along with that, we distributed the matrix of questions dealing with the prioritization of forest ecosystem services that was developed in work package 2.
