On September 12th and 13th, 2024, the “NÖ Geotage 2024” conference will take place in Haindorf Castle near Langenlois. This event is all about geothermal energy and is organized by the Office of the Lower Austrian State Government in cooperation with GeoSphere Austria and the Mineral Resources Forum of the WKO.
The conference will examine a variety of topics related to the use of geothermal energy, from regional basics of geothermal energy in Austria to deep geothermal projects for decarbonization and the legal framework for the use of geothermal energy. A highlight is the presentation of the Interreg project TRANSGEO and the discussion on the role of geothermal energy in future energy supplies.
