On 26 October 2024, the Vas County Disaster Management Directorate will organise a national recertification exercise and a field exercise to implement the pilot tasks set in the framework of the Interreg Central Europe LOCALIENCE project. Prior to the exercises, a field inspection took place on 15 October 2024, attended by the professional rescue commanders, the heads of the voluntary rescue organisations involved in the damage clean-up, and representatives of partner and cooperating organisations. During the inspection of the individual damage sites, Tibor Horváth, Colonel, Civil Protection Supervisor of the Disaster Management Office of Körmend, defined in detail the tasks to be performed and the personnel responsible for the implementation.
