Wondering what recycling tastes like? Get involved in the development of upcycled food!

Here’s your chance to participate in a special workshop where you can not only taste upcycled food products but also get involved in the development processes of Hungarian upcycled food brands Secontaste and Grapoila.

Upcycling in action – anyone is welcome who wants to learn about how to turn food by-products into delicious treats.

1. Mix your own porridge beyond oatmeal, from by-products of cold-pressed oil production or even vegetable juice pressing. Bianka Geiger (creator of the TREAT project), Grapoila and Secontaste teams will help you.

2. Bake “chocolate” biscuits without chocolate. With Julcsi Dalmadi you can make a “new generation” of biscuits from a combination of brewers’ spent grain meal and cocoa bean shells. Helping hands are provided by the Secontaste team.

As a workshop participant, you will be the first to try these delicious treats made from upcycled ingredients! Taste, texture, experience – you can give your opinion on everything and help finalize the products that will be on store shelves.
