A conference entitled “Renewable Energy Sources on Farms as a Way to Save Energy and Protect the Environment”, organised by the Branch Office in Stare Pole of the Pomeranian Agricultural Advisory Centre in Lubań, took place on 15.11.2024.
At the conference, Prof. Mariusz J. Stolarski, Ph.D., from the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, gave a presentation on the TeBiCE project. He discussed issues related to the utilisation of post-production residues from agricultural production and the agri-food industry in agricultural biogas plants, as well as for the breeding of insects to produce high-quality protein and animal fat and their further processing into food and animal feed. The professor presented examples of small-scale insect production technologies in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and large-scale industrial production in the Netherlands and France.
