Agri-Digital Growth is launching a Hackathon challenge on “AI-Powered Solutions for Enhanced Agriculture” for talended software developers, data engineers, and ITC students. This is your chance to make an impact and revolutionise agricultural practices by using cutting-edge AI and digital tools. This challenge gives participants the opportunity to build upon existing technologies to identify the next innovative advancement.
On February 6th and 7th, participants will have 24 hours to design AI-driven solutions targeting key agricultural issues related to weather prediction and changing climate patterns. These may include creating techniques to remove cloud cover from satellite imagery and enabling accurate crop monitoring even in bad weather condition. Another task will be developing site-specific weather forecasting models. Participants will refine algorithms for improved accuracy, optimise models for real-time usability, and design solutions that cater to the needs of farmers across the Central Europe region. They will also work on integrating satellite imagery with weather data to monitor crop growth, detect stress, and optimise yields is also on the agenda, alongside crafting user-friendly interfaces that help farmers make informed decisions. The aim is to adapt and advance existing solutions to the specific environmental, agricultural, and socio-economic conditions of Central Europe.
The top three winners will earn exclusive remote internships (from 3 to 6 months) with leading organisations in the field of precision agriculture. They will provide participants with hands-on experience in working with AI, satellite data, and GIS technologies. They’re a life-changing opportunity for digital innovators as they include mentorship from top industry experts and the chance to collaborate on real-world projects with cutting-edge technologies.
