Prior to their participation in the Final International GREENPACT Collaboration Lab in Rijeka, students Adam Foubík and Stanislav Veselý took part in the Buddy Boosting Training Program organized at VŠTE. During this program, they learned in detail about the main characteristics of the circular economy and particularly focused on renewability and sustainability in the hospitality and creative industries. Having come up with innovative ideas throughout these meetings, both students eventually presented them to specific companies. Their proposal was assessed as the best, allowing them to travel to the city of Rijeka and directly put their innovation into practice.
At the event in Rijeka, both Adam and Stanislav further developed their previous knowledge and tried their hand at working in a new environment unfamiliar to them. At the same time, they collaborated with participants from other countries, exploring the city together, sharing ideas, and gaining valuable international experience. In this way, they contributed to making proposals that can help the local community and the environment, thus promoting the principles of the circular economy. Moreover, this experience has clearly shown them how sustainable approaches can be successfully implemented in real life. Have a look at the video!
