Lublin University of Technology wants a Green Europe

Climate change is not conducive to the preservation of historic cities. The situation is particularly difficult for courtyards, where there is no clear strategy for managing these spaces. Without appropriate climate revitalisation and a new approach to their organisation, climate change will be increasingly felt by residents.

Researchers from the Department of Monument Conservation at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture at the Lublin University of Technology, who will implement the RE-PUBLIC SPACES project, are rushing to help. They are the leaders of an international consortium coordinating 9 partners from four countries, including scientific institutions from Italy (Fondazione LINKS), Croatia (Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar) and Slovenia (University of Ljubljana), as well as the cities of Lodz, Osijek, Pinerolo and Velenje.
