The CONE project aims to establish 5 urban Living Labs to apply nature-based solutions as more democratic approach to climate change mitigation and adaptation. Project partners design and test new participatory and digitally driven processes that support the application of nature-based solutions within 3 pilot actions in 5 urban pilot areas.
Living Labs for rainwater management are created in Padua (Italy), Wejherowo (Poland), České Budějovice (Czech Republic) and Jászberény (Hungary). Living Labs dealing with heat stress mitigation are being established in Padua (Italy) and České Budějovice (Czech Republic) and Living Labs for river basins & embankments management are being built in Polčane (Slovenia) and Wejherowo (Poland).
