The vibrant city of Kraków played host to the 5th GREENE 4.0 Project Partner Meeting, held at the Kraków Technology Park, where representatives from across Europe gathered for two days of strategic collaboration, tool development and forward planning.
The event combined the 5th Partner Meeting, a Transnational Open Knowledge Box Integration Seminar and hands-on Design Thinking Camps, creating a dynamic environment for knowledge exchange and practical innovation.
Reflecting on Progress, Coordinating the Future
The event focused on reviewing concluded and ongoing project activities, with Pomurje Technology Park (PTP) and partners reporting progress across multiple work packages, including digital and green innovation mapping, capacity-building toolkits and the development of the B2GreenHub platform.
Highlights included a detailed walkthrough of the Private Equity Investment Readiness Tool, the integration roadmap for the Transnational Open Knowledge Box, and key updates on the GREENE 4.0 Innovation Contest led by Krakow Technology Park.
Building the B2GreenHub Platform
The Transnational Open Knowledge Box Seminar was a core part of the agenda, where participants explored the next-generation B2GreenHub platform—a central resource intended to support collaboration between SMEs, technology providers, and experts in circular and digital innovation. Partners discussed integrating tools such as Open Innovation Maps, Training Programs, and the Expert Forum into the platform.
Creative Problem-Solving at the Design Thinking Camp
The Design Thinking Camps dove into improving selected innovation tools: The Toolbox, Expert Forum and Business Model Generator. Partners reviewed the tools’ usability, shared insights, and proposed enhancements to better serve the needs of SMEs navigating digital and green transformation.
Looking Ahead
As the project enters its final stages, the Kraków meeting was instrumental in shaping the deployment of GREENE 4.0 innovation programs and piloting new value chains. The shared energy and ideas exchanged over two days reaffirmed the project’s mission: to empower SMEs with practical, scalable tools for sustainable innovation.
With the next steps firmly in motion, the GREENE 4.0 community continues to lead the charge toward a greener, smarter future.
