On 4 April 2025, the Agricultural Institute of Slovenia hosted its third capacity building seminar at the Jablje Infrastructure Centre, bringing together farmers and agricultural advisors to explore the future of sustainable agriculture.
The seminar started with an introduction to the Carbon Farming CE project, followed by presentations and stimulating discussions on the following topics:
– Innovative carbon farming techniques and business models
– Methods for monitoring carbon storage in soil
– The crucial role of organic matter in soil health
– Policy outlook
– A lively open discussion on carbon credits, emissions and practical challenges in the field
