This annual celebration of 3rd Sector organisations brought together numerous organisations, foundations, associations and individuals involved in activities for benefit of the local community and the city of Legnica. Present, among others, were representatives of associations and foundations for the disabled, labour cooperatives, occupational therapy workshops or the Guild of Handicrafts, as well as social enterprises.
The meeting started with a traditional parade of participants from the city centre to the Piast Gallery, where presentations of their offers combined with artistic performances took place.
For ARLEG this was an opportunity to present to the festival participants the objectives of the international project 3P4SSE ‘Public-Private Partnership for Social and Solidarity Economy’, which promotes cooperation to reduce social inequalities in Central Europe and increase cohesion between economic sectors and disadvantaged people.
The contacts established with participating organisations will give us the opportunity to involve them in the project’s activities at a later stage.
