Site-specific analyses at pilot sites are ongoing. They will outline tourism impact-related problems to be addressed in pilot actions. The aim is to evaluate subjects relevant to visitor impacts on natural values (flora, fauna, ecosystems, habitats, land types, or geological features). Partners will select indicators for each pilot site.
Selection will be based on the particular characteristics of the asset as well as the type of visitor activity, linked to existing evaluation frameworks of partners. The aim is also to improve the availability and quality of data, with a focus on comparability among countries and jointly developed solutions.
The final report will be prepared at the start of the 2024 year providing information on the baseline situation at the pilot site level, describing and compiling results of the desk research and expert interviews.
