The National Foundation for Civil Society Development held its first Virtual Study Visit – VSV 21st November 2023 as part of the implementation of the project 3P4SSE – “Public-Private Partnership for Social and Solidarity Economy”, approved under the INTERREG Central Europe 2021-2027 Cross-Border Cooperation Program.
The experiences of the Republic of Croatia in establishing networks of social and solidarity economies based on public-private partnerships with the aim of creating a common strategy and action plan for sustainable regional development in Central Europe, and thus generating new solutions for the social and solidarity economy, were presented by Mr. Dražen Šimleša from the Green Network of Activist Groups, together with other stakeholders from the Republic of Croatia – Center for Rural Development CERURA HR, Slap Association, and representatives from the Split-Dalmatia County.
Project partners that participated in the virtual study visit: Provincia Autonoma Trentino (Italy), Links Foundation (Italy), Federazione Trentina della Cooperazione (Italy), Regional Development Agency Podravje – Maribor (Slovenia), FAB – Vocational Support Association (Austria), Panonska poslovna mreža (Hungary), and Zaklada Prizma (Slovenia).
By mid-December 2023, three more virtual study visits based on the experiences of stakeholders from Italy, Slovenia, and Poland are planned. These visits will contribute to the development of a working document titled “Learning from Good Practices,” based on the research conducted during these study visits.
