In addition to the scientific staff of the National Forest Centre, the workshop was attended by experts from various fields such as the central state administration, experts from municipalities, forest managers and owners of forest land, entrepreneurs in the tourism industry and representatives of nature protection. Representatives of state and non-state forest managers and forest land owners expressed a long-term dissatisfaction with the processes related to the original nomination of the UNESCO site and its extension to the current state. This meeting of key actors highlighted the need for a participatory approach that allows all stakeholders to be involved and to take their needs and views into account.
