Digitalisation of ports and freight transport: experiences and practices across EU-funded Programmes. La Spezia, 19th June 2024

Hybrid
Location: Italy
Date: 19.06.2024
Latest available data (2022) show that despite the efforts to shift freight from road to rail, road transport still accounts for 24.9% of all freight transport in the EU. Considering only inland freight transport – i.e. excluding the maritime component – this share increases to almost 80%.

Road is an unavoidable component of freight transport, so how can we make it greener and smarter?

Representatives of four EU-funded projects from across Europe will exchange experiences, expertise and expectations in this topic in La Spezia on 19th June 2024, in a joint event co-organised among the ACCESSMILE (Interreg Central Europe), MILEPORT (Interreg Italy-Croatia), EASY2LOG (Interreg Italy-France Maritime) and MERIDIAN (CEF) projects.

The event will be in a hybrid format, simultaneous translation in English, French and Italian will be available.
