Join our talk session at the EU Regions Week 2023 on Tuesday, 10 October in Brussels. We will speak about “Breaking barriers: A call for coordination among EU funds for better impacts”.
Better coordination among EU funds has been a long-standing political objective. Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE has taken this to the ground through its call for “Capitalisation through coordination”. Barriers were broken down in new cooperation projects that brought together partners from various EU funds to increase the impact of existing results. How successful was this experiment? In this talk, our speaker will reflect on the process and present results from the recent impact evaluation.
Background: The European Week of Regions and Cities (EU Regions Week) is an annual four-day event during which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement European Union cohesion policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance. The 21 edition this year will take place in Brussels from 9-12 October 2023.
