The upcoming fourth GINEVRA Partner Meeting in Varaždin promises a productive and insightful gathering as the consortium focuses on advancing transformative innovation in Central European cities. This session, held from November 6-7, will bring partners together to review completed activities, refine ongoing pilots, and strategize next steps, including preparations for technology demonstrations and an upcoming tender process.
DAY 0 – NOVEMBER 5, 2024
- Arrival of partners and an evening welcome dinner hosted by the City of Varaždin (venue TBC), providing an opportunity for informal networking and reconnecting.
DAY 1 – NOVEMBER 6, 2024
Location: Student Centre Varaždin, Ulica kralja Petra Krešimira IV. 42, 42000 Varaždin
The official program begins at 9:30 AM with an overview of recent project progress by Giulia Bubbolini (CISE). The meeting will feature in-depth sessions to close out Work Package 1 (WP1), presented by Nikoletta Lupó (HARFA), and updates on WP2, led by EMFIE representatives Nikoletta Nádas and Miklos Lukovics. Partners will then participate in an interactive exchange of pilot project insights, moderated by ALDA+, to strengthen local project impacts. A detailed session by TU Wien’s Takeru Shibayama and Helmut Lemmerer will focus on preparing for upcoming technology demonstrations at demo sites in Cesena, Bad Schoenborn, and Varaždin.
The afternoon will include the 4th Steering Committee Meeting, covering essential project management topics such as financial reporting (led by Resolvo), project communication updates (by ALDA+), and open discussions. The day will conclude with a round-up session, ensuring all partners align on actions leading up to the next project meeting. The evening will feature a project dinner at a venue to be confirmed.
DAY 2 – NOVEMBER 7, 2024
Participants will embark on a study visit, beginning with the Varaždin pilot area and followed by a trip to Rimac Automobili in Sveta Nedelja near Zagreb. This visit offers an exciting opportunity to observe the real-world applications of transformative innovations being developed in partnership with GINEVRA.
