On 28 November, the PoLaRecCE project was presented to the high school students of class 3 F of the Institute Tecnico in Biotecnologie Sanitarie ‘Ettore Majorana’ in San Lazzaro di Savena (Bo). The presentation was held in the biology laboratory with the attendance of Prof. Rocco Duchi, lecturer in microbiology, and Prof. Antonio Bozza, lecturer in chemical and microbiological sciences and technologies.
Students will be engaged in training and dissemination activities as part of the PoLaRecCE project from November 2024 to June 2025. During this time, the students will receive instruction on the characteristics and functions of soil and the challenges it faces. They will also learn about the PoLaRecCE project’s approach to the remediation of polluted soils for the recovery of non-food production.
