On April 24, 2024, joint promotion of the international direct train between Italy and Croatia via Slovenia, and cross-border green mobility online solution will take place in Rijeka. The opening event is on invitation only, but the service is open to all. The online promotion of cross-border green mobility & healthy lifestyle – Train’n’green – will be a part of www.hzpp.hr website, to utilize on existing resources and ensure a positive starting position. This bilingual solution answers the needs of cyclist as frequent rail travellers and aims to increase railway transportation and bicycle use. Different bike-related information (cycling routes, bike-friendly accommodation, events etc.) will be regularly updated for Croatia, Slovenia and part of Italy. Since the new international train can transport bicycles, this solution perfectly complements the service in three countries and can be used on mobile phones as well.
