The Munich University of Applied Sciences (HM), a project partner in the consortium, organised a special workshop in December with the main objective of bringing together the different stakeholders and discussing the main barriers to the use of recycled aggregates in concrete. All stakeholders listed in the initial mapping (A1.1) were invited to attend the workshop and also to participate in a survey on the main applications and main barriers of the circular economy in mineral recycling. The idea of the workshop was to identify and discuss gaps and potentials in the implementation of the construction materials cycle and construction education. In order to get a broad picture, the workshop was aimed at different stakeholders, including the public sector, recycling and ready-mixed concrete industry and construction companies.
