The PM meeting aims to review the completed work in WP1 and WP2 and plan the remaining activities, receive training on functional multilevel governance (WP1), and get guidance for completing local tasks for WP1 and WP2. Additionally, it will initiate WP3 and prepare for the tender process to select a technology provider for demonstration activities (concluding WP2). The meeting also includes an overall “fitness check” of the GINEVRA project, referred to as a “mid-term project review,” with Project Officer Mr. Winfred Ritt, and an opportunity to experience autonomous vehicle (AV) mobility in Pörtschach am Wörthersee with SURAAA.
DAY 1 – JUNE 12TH 2024
On the first day of the PM meeting, partners will conduct a mid-term project review, starting with an overview of Year 1 activities and finances, with CISE and Resolvo providing insights on project progress, and ALDA+ reporting on communication efforts. HARFA and EMFIE will review deliverables, outputs, and milestones for WP1 and WP2, and present an outlook on upcoming activities, while HARFA, EMFIE, and TU WIEN will outline forthcoming tasks in WP1, WP2, and WP3. CISE and Resolvo will address open issues, propose solutions, discuss project modifications, and round up the mid-term review, including discussions on emerging issues and final comments by the Project Officer. The day will also feature WP1 sessions led by Nikoletta Lupo from HARFA, focusing on responsible, multi-level governance of transformative innovation, with technical insights on lessons learned, upcoming deliverables, and partner guidance in the first session, and an interactive training session on the six aspects of functional multilevel governance in the second session.
DAY 2 – JUNE 13TH 2024
The second day of the PM meeting will begin with a discussion on WP2, focusing on the responsible, multi-level governance of transformative innovation, specifically the toolkit and capacity building with EMFIE. This will include a second e-capacity building session on stakeholder and citizen engagement tools, along with some technical insights on WP2.
The discussion will then shift to the responsible, multi-level governance of transformative innovation related to the transnational pilot and uptake. This will be followed by the WP3 kick-off, outlining the operational steps for setting up AV demonstrators, and preparing for the tender process to select an AV supplier (marking the end of WP2).
The Steering Committee Meeting will also be introduced, noting that Steering Committee 3 will be held online after this meeting. This session will only cover the main points to be addressed.
The day will conclude with a brief round-up discussion and planning of next steps, moderated by Giulia Bubbolini from CISE and Viola Passoni from Resolvo, with input from all partners. This interactive session will consolidate learnings from the meeting, plan transnational and local work until the next project meeting, list upcoming activities, and address any questions and doubts.
