Workshops on Carbon Sequestration Techniques: Exploring the Pros and Cons of Cover Crops

We are pleased to inform you that the Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation – State Research Institute (IUNG-PIB), Poland, will host a workshop on October 18, 2024 at the experimental farm in Błonie-Topola. The topic is: „Agricultural farming techniques to promote carbon sequestration in the soil – advantages and disadvantages of using cover crops” and provides an ideal basis for an interesting discussion and exchange of views. The workshops are aimed at government representatives, representatives of non-governmental organizations and farmers. The workshops will start with two seminars in which the Carbon Farming CE project and the carbon sequestration methods will be presented. In the discussion round, the advantages and disadvantages of carbon farming will be analyzed. The aim is not to represent opposing views, but to listen to all arguments and opinions and to find common solutions and positions.
