An exciting journey of innovation and sustainability has just concluded! Twenty-two brilliant minds, including 20 future entrepreneurs and 2 tourism companies from the Veneto region, came together on 9 and 10 April to explore the crucial themes of circular economy and environmental sustainability in tourism. This was made possible by the GREENPACT Collaboration Lab (hackathon style), a creative lab funded by the European project GREENPACT Interreg Central Europe, organized by ENAIP Veneto in collaboration with the Veneto Region.

During two intense days at the Verona headquarters of ENAIP Veneto, we witnessed a creative process of brainstorming, business modelling, and presentation of innovative ideas. We sincerely thank Bibione mare spa and Parchotels for bringing their real challenges, which inspired participants to create potential tailored solutions.

We are thrilled to share how the hackathon has brought 7 emerging proposals and business ideas in the sustainable tourism sector. Thanks to the valuable contribution of partners T2i and Veneto Region, our future entrepreneurs received crucial feedback and insights to refine their ideas.

From self-sufficient and autonomous accommodation structures in terms of energy and water, to the promotion of fair-trade tourism in abandoned or confiscated areas, to the creation of green supplier mapping systems, possible guides and handbooks for sustainable tourists, initiatives for new green spaces and regenerative areas… we have only scratched the surface of possibilities. And this is just the beginning!

In the coming days, participants will engage in training program, the Buddy Training Programme, designed to refine and consolidate their business ideas.
