The consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, talent scarcity and the ever-growing challenges of digital and green transition are putting pressure on companies in the tourism, cultural and creative sectors in Central Europe. With our partner EU project Capacity2Transform, Steinbeis Europa Zentrum and ten further European partners address the pressing challenges faced by cultural and creative industries (CCIs) as well as small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in sustainable tourism when it comes to adapting to and engaging with digital and green transitions.
Capacity2Transform aims to develop skills, knowledge and awareness to bring more sustainable products and solutions to the market in the context of digital and green transformation. It is a network of 11 institutions in Europe connecting technological providers, creative enterprises and businesses that look forward to evolve!
Between August 2024 and April 2025, the partnership will strengthen the existing skills of individuals and companies in Baden-Württemberg and the other participating regions with various activities (panel discussions, lectures, consultancy services, co-creation workshops, etc.). As time is a scarce commodity, we want to offer tailored-made activities both online and in your neighborhood in order to minimize the effort for you.
We are firmly convinced that (stronger) cooperation both regionally and internationally with other companies, with the creative and cultural industries and with business support organisations not only leads to better technical solutions, but also to better societal solutions. Creative professionals can serve as key partners for the provision of complex solutions.
Together we want to develop innovative business concepts. As a first step, we will identify problems and then collaborate – with different cross-sectoral participants – to develop concepts and design solutions. The aim is to take concrete measures to put these creative solutions into practice.
