CE-PRINCE Steering Committee Meeting was held in Budapest

Date: 08.11.2024

Our Steering Committee has taken a giant step forward to reach our project goals and to help the public and private sector towards circularity and a sustainable future!

Thanks to the great work of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, CE-PRINCE is formulating an exceptional data analysis on the state of GPP capacity of the public and private sectors to identify the circularity potential and the main barriers to be overcome in our partner countries!  In addition to exploring the demand and supply side through questionnaires and interviews, we will also conduct desk research on GPP policy frameworks across the region. In order to deepen our knowledge base, the CE-PRINCE Team has decided to extend the deadline for the CE-PRINCE initial survey until 15 November!

We’re excited to let you know how the CE-PRINCE Advisory Board is progressing! We have now formulated a plan and put (exceptional!) names on the table to be invited to participate in the work of our expert team. The main focus of the advisors will be to create synergy with existing networks at European level and to build a dialogue on C/GPP, as well as to provide technical feedback on the project’s outputs and results. We can hardly wait to share more details with you by the end of 2024!

Under the leadership of Regione Liguria, the CE-PRINCE Team has been working on the definition of a Transnational C/GPP Strategy that will massively help all stakeholders in CEE to increase circularity through GPP! This ambitious strategy will be co-written by all partners and with the contribution of key stakeholders and the Advisory Board, based on the results of CE-PRINCE’s initial assessment and data analysis.

Last but not least, we had the honour to welcome the presentation of the Circular Minds project (https://www.interregeurope.eu/circular-minds) and found a beautiful synergy and promising cooperation with a similarly minded project!

We are not alone – we are stronger together!
