The second Buddy Boosting Training Program in Croatia, jointly organized by Step Ri and the City of Rijeka, successfully concluded under the name CIRCULATOR program – Accelerator for Sustainable Business and Circular Innovation. This initiative, part of the regional GREENPACT program, provided an intensive three-month training designed to support sustainable business practices and circular innovation.
The program ran from January 28th to March 18th, 2025, featuring five in-person workshops at STEP RI in Croatia. Led by experienced trainer Boris Golob, the sessions covered essential aspects of circular economy implementation:
- Creating a Circular Business Strategy
- Creating Circular Products and Services
- Circular Business Models
- Green Transformation – Implementation Plan
- Managing business changes and measuring the impact of circular transformation
Each workshop included lectures, independent work, and discussions, fostering interactive learning experiences. A total of 24 applications were received, with 18 participants actively engaging, representing the SME sector, NGOs, and the Gen F network.
Participants were very positive about the whole program, finding it useful and relevant to their work. They appreciated the focus on circular transformation and sustainability and felt it gave them valuable ideas for their businesses. Some of the participants recommended keeping this theme in future programs because they believe it supports growth and new ideas.
