On March 20–21, Warsaw became a hub for clean energy innovation and policy dialogue as the Clean Air Forum 2025 (Forum Czystego Powietrza) brought together experts, local governments, and energy professionals from across Poland. This important event created space for inspiring discussions on how to improve air quality and accelerate the energy transition in our communities.
With a strong focus on collaboration and innovation, this year’s forum highlighted key priorities in the clean air agenda:
-
Accelerating the transition to clean heating technologies
-
Supporting municipalities in implementing effective air quality programs
-
Engaging and empowering citizens through education and community initiatives
-
Strengthening the role of energy communities and integrated support tools like One-Stop Shops
We are proud that the Mazovian Energy Agency (MAE) co-organized this year’s edition, together with the Marshal’s Office of the Mazovia Region and the City of Warsaw.
MAE took an active role in the forum by hosting two hands-on workshops focused on:
-
Building and scaling One-Stop Shop models to support citizens in energy renovation projects
-
Developing and financing energy communities that empower local actors and increase energy independence
What stood out throughout the event was the clear momentum behind community-based energy models. The enthusiasm of local actors showed that the clean air transition is not just a technical challenge—it is becoming a true social movement.
Together, we are shaping a cleaner, healthier, and more energy-resilient future for all.
