The topic of the first workshop was food upcycling: the participants could learn how to produce new foods from the by-products of the food industry, they could taste such foods and prepare their own recipes containing beer grounds, cocoa bean husks and cascara. The workshop was led by Julia Dalmadi, food futurist and owner of the Secontaste brand.

The participants of the second workshop could learn the basics of composting, examine their own soils using simple methods and play a board game about composting. Our partner in this workshop was Compocity Ltd.

The participants of the third workshop were able to learn about the use of wool. They were given a professional, but cheerful introduction to this natural raw material, and then everyone could try what had learned about wool in practice. They tried the wet method, and several people also created lovely utility and decorative items with needle felting. The workshop was led by Éva Takács, craft instructor.

All three workshops took place in a very good atmosphere and the participants could return home armed with new knowledge.
