Czech-Austrian pilot region has been testing Accessibility Guides

Date: 14.11.2024
Czech-Austrian pilot region has been testing Accessibility Guides that will help tourists with disabilities find basic accessibility information directly on tourism provider websites. Many providers in the pilot region offer services for people with disabilities, yet do not publish this information online (e.g. wheelchair-accessible room). Project team is trying to change this situation and created step-by-step tutorial for tourism providers on what and how to publish accessibility information on their website. In addition, the project team members in the pilot area (including persons with disabilities) will help collecting evidence for the Accessibility Guide on-site, thus making it easier for those providers who might struggle to do it themselves. First webinar for the local tourism providers will take place on 10 December, with additional webinars following at the beginning of next year. Watch this short video to learn more. The webinar will be held in Czech language.
