As part of the Eco week activities, a World Caffe workshop was held on 20.3.2025 by Interreg Central Europe projects CICADA4CE and URBIO BAUHAUS on identifying and understanding the challenges of climate change adaptation and urban biodiversity in our city. A draft document on climate change adaptation strategies for the Gorenjska region and shopping malls adaptation to climate change and their “green” vision for the future were presented to over 20 mainly professional public representatives. The participants talked about heat and urban heat islands, about capturing, retaining, and using rainwater and thought about biodiversity in the city, green systems, and connectivity of green elements in the city.
