First Partner Meeting of Digi-B-Well held in Bratislava, Slovakia

The University of Economics in Bratislava hosted an international Steering Committee meeting of the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE project Digi-B-Well on 11th & 12th of December 2024. 8 partners from 6 Central European countries convened to discuss the progress and future steps of the project, which aims to enhance digital solutions for improving health and well-being in the workplace.

The Digi-B-Well project focuses on promoting innovative tools and strategies that foster mental and physical well-being through the integration of digital technologies. It addresses the growing need for effective solutions to support individuals and organizations in managing workplace challenges in a rapidly changing digital environment.

 

During the two-day meeting, project partners reviewed the current status of research activities, shared insights from involvement of their local stakeholders, and planned next steps for achieving the project’s goals. The discussions also emphasized the importance of tailoring digital well-being tools to the unique needs of various workplaces across the region.

 

Highlights of the Meeting:

 

Strategy Development: Collaborative workshops focused on creating comprehensive guidelines for integrating digital tools into workplace well-being programs.

Preparation of Piloting Activities: The consortium discussed possibilities of pilot implementation activities to be conducted in the respective regions, showcasing innovative approaches to digital well-being.

Future Plans: The consortium outlined strategies for stakeholder engagement and dissemination to ensure the long-term impact of the project.

Prof. Peter Markovič, representing the University of Economics in Bratislava, welcomed participants and highlighted the importance of international cooperation in addressing workplace well-being: “This project reflects our commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration in addressing critical challenges faced by organizations today. We are proud to contribute to a healthier, more productive workplace culture.”

The meeting also provided an opportunity for networking and knowledge exchange among project participants, further strengthening the transnational partnership that underpins the DIGI-B-WELL initiative.
