Date: 25.07.2024
FH Kufstein Tirol – University of Applied Sciences Tirol wrapped up two influential workshops under Greene 4.0. The series, titled “SME in Transition,” included two key events.

On May 23, 2024, the first workshop at Raiffeisen Haus Oberndorf brought together businesses from Kitzbühel and Kufstein to explore digital and sustainable solutions. Hosted by FH Kufstein Tirol – University of Applied Sciences, Raiffeisenbank Kitzbühel – St. Johann, the Innovationsnetzwerk Bezirk Kitzbühel (INK) (Kitzbühel Innovation Network) and Wirtschaftskammer Tirol (Chambers of Commerce), the event featured discussions on the integration of digital and green practices, with insights from industry experts Georg Foidl and Werner Zima.

The second workshop, held on July 16, 2024, in Kufstein, continued the series’ success by focusing on developing smart strategies for sustainable futures. It drew businesses from Kitzbühel, Kufstein, and Bavaria.

Nicole Schrey (CEO of Klima//Strategie) shared insights on strategic planning, and Selina-Maria Schiller (project manager for Greene 4.0) presented the B2GreenHub. Participants analyzed the B2GreenHub using a PESTEL framework to assess its impacts, while Christian Schmid discussed current trends in digitalization, including AI and additive manufacturing.

Both workshops were well-received, with participants showing strong interest in additional sessions. Greene 4.0 and the B2GreenHub will keep assisting regional businesses in implementing effective and sustainable strategies.
