The GreenScape CE project participated in the Synergies Roundtable on Climate Change, organized by Interreg Europe. This virtual event brought together climate action and urban resilience projects, and GreenScape CE shared its efforts in promoting nature-based solutions (NbS) and green infrastructure (GI) to address urban climate challenges. Key highlights included the presentation of NBS/GI Action Plans, which outline specific measures to “green” urban spaces, the importance of local authorities, experts, and citizens in combating urban heat islands, and the role of sustainable urban planning in creating climate-resilient cities. The event provided valuable insights and fostered synergies to further advance green, resilient urban solutions.
