At two-thirds into the project timeline, H2CE is well on track. The partnership has:
✅ Engaged stakeholders across Central Europe in collaborative regional energy planning.
✅ Completed several rounds of exchange of experience, workshops, and stakeholder dialogues.
✅ Developed initial blueprints for integrating hydrogen into regional and local strategies (WP1).
✅ Advanced technical models and planning approaches for embedding hydrogen into energy systems (WP2).
✅ Launched a digital collaboration platform to support continuous networking and knowledge sharing.
✅ Initiated a transnational network of H2-ready regions, setting the foundation for future cooperation.
The focus so far has been on capacity building, joint development of strategic tools, and establishing the basis for long-term hydrogen integration. The final project phase will concentrate on testing, fine-tuning, and disseminating these outcomes across Central Europe.
