On June 20th, 2024, in České Budějovice, the third Local Working Group meeting for the CIREVALC Circular Community Accelerator brought together key stakeholders to shape the future of circular economy practices in the South Bohemian region. Organized by JAIP (PP6), the meeting focused on designing a comprehensive support package tailored to local pioneers, aiming to enhance sustainability efforts in the region.
Key discussions highlighted the need for better awareness of circular economy principles, financial and regulatory support for SMEs, and the integration of academic research with practical applications. The collaboration of universities, business organizations, and regional authorities is set to drive the successful launch of a pilot action, fostering innovation and sustainable growth.
The pilot program will not only support local pioneers but also serve as a potential model for other regions looking to implement sustainable practices. The next meeting is scheduled for December 2024, where progress will be assessed and future actions planned.
