Between February 13 and 17, CESTEL installed a weigh-in-motion system (WIM) and 14 accelerometers at the Tomačevo Bridge. The installation of the leakage sensor is planned for about one month. The bridge WIM system was calibrated on March 6, and we are currently integrating the data into the digital twin model.

The Tomačevo Bridge is a two-lane bridge spanning over the Sava River. It is one of the main thoroughfares connecting Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, with its northern suburbs. The bridge consists of two separate structures, with two lanes in each direction, and is crossed daily by thousands of commuters and heavy vehicles transporting goods from industrial areas to the capital. We are excited to see the progress and look forward to leveraging this advanced technology to enhance the infrastructure and safety of the Tomačevo Bridge.
