The Silesia Automotive & Advanced Manufacturing (SA&AM) Cluster is an initiative of the Katowice Special Economic Zone Co. which aim is to support automotive and advanced manufacturing companies.
The idea behind SA&AM is to establish the Śląskie and Opolskie Voivodeships as a Central European competence region for the automotive industry.
The SA&AM Cluster aims to build a strong cooperation and best practice exchange platform for companies and educational and research institutions.
SA&AM focuses on two core areas:
– Innovation and Cooperation
– Labour Market and Education
Silesia Automotive & Advanced Manufacturing is a dynamic cluster acting in support of the development of the automotive industry in Poland’s southern regions.
Drive2Transform seeks to assist businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in navigating the changes brought about by the transformation of the automotive industry, with the ultimate goal of safeguarding Europe’s market dominance. To achieve this ambitious objective, a collaborative, cross-regional strategy will be employed, allowing all regions involved to reap mutual benefits. The pivotal element of this strategy is the Transnational Automotive Open Transformation Platform.
The partners of Drive2Transform unite eight Central European countries with a strong industrial background in the automotive industry, have a long-standing experience with supporting businesses and a deep knowledge of the relevant regional actors and their current challenges.
