The partners of the EnCLOD project – Enhancing governance Capacities of Local authorities using Open Data are gathering in Debrecen (Hungary) on 2 & 3 April 2025 for their third Transnational Partners Meeting and Study Visit β and youβre invited to be part of it!
On Wednesday, 2 April, from 9:00 to 12:30, an inspirational workshop titled βOpening Data for Territorial Governance β First Achievementsβ will take place.
Open to stakeholders, this session will bring together local authorities, researchers, civil society actors, and technical experts to explore how Open Data is reshaping public governance, environmental management, and civic participation across Europe.
The EnCLOD project supports five Central European territories in boosting their governance capacities through the use of Open Data and IoT sensor networks. The initiative fosters multi-level cooperation, empowers civil society, and encourages public-private collaboration, driving both innovation and local development.
During the workshop, you will:

Hear from local leaders and European experts, including key institutions from Hungary and abroad

Discover practical examples of Open Data and IoT in action, addressing challenges like air quality, traffic management, and environmental monitoring

Learn from successful case studies in Olomouc (CZ) and Ε½ilina (SK), where EnCLOD tools are already delivering results

Take part in an interactive session designed to exchange ideas and explore how Open Data can support your own work and community
The session will be followed by a networking lunch, offering the chance to connect with fellow stakeholders and project partners in an informal setting.
